• Professional interaction with customers on a daily basis via email and phone including business correspondence and negotiations

• Review and preparation of shipping and billing documents for accuracy such as Bill of Lading, SOF etc.

•Correspondence with cooperating companies- in Ukraine and abroad.

•Securing our partners interests in Ukraine.

•Human resources management within the Branch / inner ISO Audit and Quality Management

•Implementation of International Ship and Port Facility Security Code rules.

•Anticipating issues which may have had impact on loading and/ or discharging operations.

•Close cooperation with marine, naval, immigration and customs authorities.

•Meeting with Harbor Master and all other authorities on regular basis to discuss and implement all necessary changes of port rules into agency activities, to ensure company’s name recognition and help with future cooperation of above mentioned authorities.

•Documents preparation ie: Bills of Lading, Manifests of Cargo, Statements of Fact and other relevant cargo documents.

•Filing of weekly, monthly and annual financial and traffic reports with company CEO and owners
Logistical and Port Duties

•Problem solving of all matters while vessels stay in the port.

•24/7 on call availability

•Immediate presence on board of the vessel in case of unforeseen problems occurrence.

•Ensuring cargo/ storage availability, seeking additional storage if necessary.

•Troubleshooting problems with cargo availability and arrivals of cargo.

•Planning and coordinating of cargo discharging and loading operations.

•Assisting and overseeing cargo quality control inspectors while loading operations in progress.

•Overseeing exceptionally sensitive/ cargo loading operations

•Coordinating activities of all parties involved.

•Negotiating with ship services providers

•Purchasing equipment, parts and provision, fresh water and other supplies as requested and on behalf of Principals

•Signing off and on crew members, arranging for Ukrainian transit visas and other necessary travel and legal documents.
