I was born and raised in Korea and spent most of my life there. After high school, I joined the military, where I developed a strong interest in languages. This passion led me to Canada, where I studied English for six months. After the six months course, I got a job as a barista, which allowed me to practice communicating with people, speaking different languages, from diverse backgrounds. I truly enjoyed the process of learning new languages and connecting with others.
With the goal of pursuing a bachelor's degree abroad, I had about seven months before my departure. During that time, I sought a job that would enable me to interact with foreigners, which is why I chose to work as a guesthouse manager for Mondaycracker. Currently, I'm in Norway, where I'm studying Business and learning Norwegian as well.
