- At the time we were working on a project called BTR165
- The objective of the project is to reduce the weight of the chassis parts of the ford eco sport by changing its usual raw materials, manufacturing & assembling process
- The most common material used for making ford chassis are BTR165 and BAS 160.The material used for ford eco sport is BTR165.This is because of its light weight, durability, elongation, and other advanced mechanical property
- This BTR 165 a product of bentler is treated with boron carbon and other additives and subjected to various special heat treatment of bentler where BTR165 get advanced mechanical and chemical properties
- This grade of material is been planned to be used in ford eco sport ,where the vehicle is expected to get lighter and helps to get better performance
