SUBSEA7 MISSION:

  • Supporting the full lifecycle of offshore installation scopes within EPCI projects — from method development through to execution offshore. I work across disciplines and suppliers to ensure technical integrity, operational readiness, and safe delivery of subsea infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing installation procedures, rigging configurations, and offshore execution strategies tailored to project and vessel constraints.
  • Managing interfaces with analysis, structural, draft and fabrication teams to align technical inputs and ensure readiness of installation tools and equipment.
  • Conducting supplier and site visits to follow up fabrication of installation aids, ensuring compliance with specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Preparing technical documentation including task plans, method statements, and risk assessments in accordance with client and Subsea7 standards.
  • Supporting loadout and deck preparation, and providing engineering assistance during critical phases of offshore operations.
  • Collaborating with the analysis team on Orcaflex studies by defining boundary conditions and validating results to support operational decisions.
  • Participating in vessel readiness checks and providing engineering follow-up during offshore operations, ensuring correct implementation of procedures and real-time issue resolution.

SCOPES OF WORK:

  • Wet Storage of Risers (Dynamic Umbilicals) with Lazy-Wave shape.
  • Subsea Modules Installation (SDU, MANIFOLDS, Piles, Crossing Bridges ETC).
  • Pull-in and Hook-up onboard the AGOGO FPSO of all RISERS with FES Diverless Bend Stiffener Connector (DBSC).

GE RENEWABLE MISSION:

As a member of the tender team of the installation department, my hole was to act in compliance with the commercial team and company strategies to acquire new projects of Offshore Wind Turbines.

Wind Turbine Offshore construction plannings

  • Participation in the GE bid nomination in Japan, Nigata project with Mitsui, RWE and Osaka Gas.
  • Conducted standby on weather analysis methods.and software benchmarking.
  • Developed specifications, managed requests for quotation, and provided comprehensive reporting.

Client & Vessel Owner Interface for Scope Alignment:

  • Conducted client site visits to present GE products and installation methodologies, fostering client confidence and satisfaction.
  • Facilitated interaction with vessel owners to assess the feasibility of turbine installation, ensuring alignment of project scopes and responsibilities.

Subsea Installation Engineer

TechnipFMC
01.2020 - 08.2022
  • At this position I was responsible for the elaboration of installation procedures of flexible pipes, umbilical lines and equipment to be executed by our Pipe Laying Vessels in several offshore oilfields in ultra-deep waters in Brazil. Main duties:
  • Installation procedures for Commissioning and Decommissioning of flexible lines and UEH between wells and platforms.
  • Responsibilities:
  • - Interacting with different departments throughout the project phase, such as: Customer, Drawing, Structure Analysis, Pipelaying, and Offshore team;
  • - Analyzing the feasibility of the project based on: the scope of the operation, loads and capacity of the vessel, outputs of other departments described above and contractual terms.

  • - Decommissioning of a production line from FPSO Cidade De Caraguatatuba;

𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 - LAPA Project - 𝗘𝗣𝗖𝗜 - 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹

  • - Relocation of two UEH lines to be reused in different Wells;
  • - Relocation of a service line to be reused in different Well;

Production Team Leader

Suavecel S.A - Grupo Ghost
01.2018 - 12.2019
  • At this position I was responsible for the management of production and quality of a paper manufacturer. The main duties include but is not limited to:
  • - Production operators management, Technical process control, production plan analysis and to find better ways to produce more with less resources applying the Lean Manufacturing tools.

Process Engineer- volunteering traineeship

ŠVEC a SPOL s.r.o.
07.2018 - 12.2018
  • Acting directly with the process engineer and the continuous improvement team I was designated to work in the manufacturing process to optimize the production and the takt time of the assembly line. Working close to the operators it was possible to understand their needs and facilitate their activities. To do so, most part of the time we applied the Lean Manufacturing tools to identify and eliminate the seven types of waste within the assembly line, controlling the time of each operation, designing the value stream mapping, making small changes over the machine’s layout and consequently removing the unnecessary movement to manufacture the product.
  • Additionally, I was able to help them with the organization of the working station, to this end, we used the 5S to place, separate and identify each necessary tool and consumables in their corresponding place.
  • As a result we accomplished a reduction of 13% in our assembly line and improved the working conditions in the factory.

Mechanical Engineer Trainee

MAHLE
01.2017 - 12.2017
  • Acting in the Product Development Process (PDP) department, this sector is responsible for developing products to be manufactured under series conditions according to the customers requirements. This position demanded to work pretty close to the customer and its application engineers, the aim was to align the Mahle PDP activities towards the customer milestones and timeframes to maximize the effectiveness of our interactions along the PDP phases. To do so, I worked alongside with the project manager assisting him on the management and control of the PDP tasks by consulting standards and procedures of the automotive industry, such as: AIAG and IATF. Additionally, I supported the quality engineer to prepare and submit some PPAP reports, such as: Design Record, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Study, Dimensional Results and Capabilities Study. In parallel, I worked on the floor assisting the cost engineer to up date the cost of the manufacturing process by checking the takt time of the operations and the machines set ups.
  • As a result, we created an internal standard for each customer with a global sight of the projects, allowing us to quickly identify the current stage and duties required, hence, we brought down the waste of time and enhanced the customer satisfaction.

CAD Designer

Compacta Print
02.2011 - 11.2013
  • Responsible for developing technical drawing of a machine industry. By using the software Inventor (CAD) I assisted the factory by providing technical drawings within dimensional and geometric tolerances to manufacture the machine’s components. To do so, I often worked with the production leaders and the machine’s operators to understand the limitations of the process and equipment aiming to find the best way to produce the parts on time and delivery it correctly to the assembly line. Additionally, it was part of my duties to deal with suppliers and train new employees to use the CAD software.
  • In the end of this experience we had created a new layout of the drawing sheet, which facilitated the recognition, management and storage of the drawings by associating them with each machine, hence, we optimized the identification of the components and reduced the non conformity parts towards the assembly line.
